Vyrnwy Academy has a maximum of five students in residence at any one time.  Each student will have their own bedroom, with en-suite or private bathroom and sitting area.  Students are encouraged to organise and maintain their own personal space and belongings however they wish.

Within the house we have quiet areas, computer and internet access, balls, games areas, a pool table, table tennis, a dart board, Sky TV, Playstation, DVD and video players and access to board games and many other activities.

We have a large, comfortable lounge designed to be a sociable but relaxing space. This room doubles as our Yoga class every friday afternoon when we have classes from a trained instructor.

Our activities room has areas for recreation, dining, classes and arts and crafts.

We have a spacious kitchen with many modifications to help our students find their way round and learn the intricacies of the kitchen in a safe environment.

The decor throughout the Academy has been designed to be age appropriate, interesting and welcoming.

Our students are encouraged to participate in every aspect of running the home and to make choices and decisions that affect their lives within the Academy. They have the option to attend staff meetings, help plan content of meals, assist to arrange social activities, invite friends to visit and attend events, decide on colour schemes for their own rooms and communal rooms.
